[TT] 3 🧠Boosts

It’s less than 2 weeks to Christmas!

With twinkling lights and festive buzz all around, it’s also a time when our energy levels can dip – whether from shorter days, holiday preparations, or seasonal sniffles.

A few weeks ago I had a dip in my usual energy levels as I recovered from a cold.

Here are three simple but powerful strategies that helped me recover.

I hope you’ll also find these 3 brain boosting tips helpful

📍3 Brain-Boosting Tips

🌟1️⃣ Take a Movement Snack

A quick 5-10 minute burst of movement can boost your brain’s energy and clarity.

Try a brisk walk up the stairs or step outside during your lunch break.

Or could even be a quick dance break in the kitchen to your favourite music track!

🌟2️⃣ Choose Brain-Friendly Fuel

While the afternoon slump might tempt you toward another coffee or sugary treat, these can lead to energy crashes.

Instead, try a handful of Brazil nuts with an apple.

The selenium and zinc in Brazil nuts provide immune-boosting benefits to ward off colds, while their healthy fats, fibre and protein stabilise blood sugar for steady brain energy

🌟3️⃣ Take a Mindful Moment

Amidst the hustle and bustling of the festivities, pause to notice the magic around you.

When outdoors, take a moment to feel the crisp winter air on your skin, observe the festive lights, and take three deep, conscious breaths.

This brief pause can reset your brain’s stress response and enhance your focus.
